29th April -3rd MAY- promotional work

After creating my toiles and doing my lay plan I then ordered my fabric. This meant that this week I didn’t have a lot to do and it was just a week of arching up and doing little bits here and there whilst waiting for the fabric to arrive.

I started off by finishing my diary of make for my toiles and doing my toile evaluation. I also caught up on my constructing folder adding in photos and labels so that my folder flows.

I was also annotating and catching up with the last parts of my sketchbooks so that I was completely ready to start sewing.

Another task I had this week was to start researching into zines and magazines as I would like to create one of these using photos of my FMP outfit. Researching into both of them I add the decision that I would create a zine as I want it to be a a collection of my work rather than adverts which is what a magazine would be. Plus I have already created a magazine for my last project so I would be challenging myself by creating a zine.

I then started to research into Germany and Scottish photographers as I would to use their work as an inspiration and starting point for my photos.

The photographers I have decided on using are Donna McGowan and Helmut Newton as I think there photos and vibe fits really well with my outfit.

I then started to look at the white on white promotional videos and what ideas and themes we could for them.

We decided the white shirt video would be a black and white trailer for a cluedo type murder film!

I then started working straight away on the story line and Moodboard for this film!
