20th - 24th May - Promotional work

This week I was purely just working on my zine as I had done the photoshoot over the weekend and sorted through the photos.

I started on Monday morning by create a plan for my zine and making a rough booklet and planning out what each page would be. This really helped me visualise what it would look like and what I needed within the book.

I then started planning out the filler pages and what I wanted them to be, I then started making these the next day.

I wanted the filler pages to relate to the photos and to the subject to create a flow through the zine. I started off by cutting out the photos an d,setters and then placing them on a black background, I then scanned them into the printer to make them digital as I wanted the whole booklet to be made digitally. Overall I’m really happy with how these came and think they look really eye catching.

I then started placing in the relevant photos through the book remembering to keep the black background through out so there’s a common theme.

I also addd titles and text to explains the meanings behind the photos.

Overall I’m really happy with how this book came out and I’m exited to see how it looks when it’s been printed.

On Wednesday we then started filming our white shirt video that me and a few of my colleagues had planned out and creating story boards etc previously. The shoot went really well and smoothly and we even got more videos shot which will be useful when

filming white shirt video and editing. I then started editing this straight away and showed my class once I was done and they where really happy with it!
